Intro to Glazing Bisque Ware

Location: LHS Cost: $115 Dates: 8/4/2014 to 8/7/2014

Aug 4-7 (Mon-Thurs) Explore the difference between glaze and underglaze. Glaze the bisqueware you made earlier this summer or choose from our selection. At week’s end, all of your wares should be ready for glaze firing in the kiln. Time: 6:30-8:30 pm - location TBA Ages: 14 & up

Intro to Welded Metal Sculpture

Location: LHS Cost: $115 Dates: 6/23/2014 to 6/26/2014

June 23-26 (Mon-Thurs) Explore the fun world of welded metal sculpture. Create 3D sculptures using the MIG Welding process. Bring long sleeve shirt, long pants, closed toe shoes, and safety glasses/goggles. Welding gloves and helmets are provided. You will weld the first day: bring your imagination so you can create finished sculptures this week! Time: 6:30 pm-8:30 pm - location TBA Ages 18 & up

Intro to Clay Building

Location: LHS Cost: $115 Dates: 6/16/2014 to 6/19/2014

June 16-19 (Mon-Thurs) Learn the hand building techniques that have been used thousands of years to create your own pots, vessels, or sculptural forms. Using these techniques you should have numerous pieces built by week’s end. All work will be kiln fired and ready for glazing. Wear your grubbies: we will get our hands dirty on Day 1! Time: 6:30-8:30 pm - location TBA Ages: 14 and up

Intro To The Potter's Wheel

Location: LHS Cost: $115 Dates: 6/9/2014 to 6/12/2014

June 9-12 (Mon-Thurs) Intro to the Potter's Wheel Jeff Hull, Instructor Fall in love with the potter’s wheel (for the first time or all over again)! You should feel comfortable at week’s end throwing a variety of objects. Finished work will be kiln fired and ready for glazing. Clay & tools provided. Wear your grubbies: we will throw clay on Day 1! Time: 6:30-8:30 pm - location TBA Ages: 14-Adult
